PPSU (polyphenylene sulfone resin) has the following performance characteristics:
Physical property
-The appearance is transparent or semi transparent amber color, with good optical properties.
-The density is between 1.29-1.32g/cm ³, which is relatively light.
Mechanical properties
-Has high tensile strength, usually around 65-75MPa, and can withstand certain external forces without deformation.
-The bending strength is generally between 100-120MPa, with good rigidity and resistance to bending.
-The impact strength is relatively high, at 20-30 kJ/m ², with good impact resistance and is not easily broken.
Thermal performance
-The glass transition temperature is about 225 ℃, and the thermal deformation temperature is between 180-207 ℃, making it suitable for long-term use in high-temperature environments.
-Has good thermal stability, is not easily decomposed at high temperatures, and can withstand multiple high-temperature disinfections.
CHEMICAL
-Strong chemical corrosion resistance, able to resist the erosion of various acids, alkalis, and organic solvents.
-Has good hydrolysis resistance and stable performance in humid environments or in contact with water.
Electrical performance
-It has excellent electrical insulation performance, with little variation in dielectric constant and dielectric loss tangent over a wide temperature and frequency range.
Other performance
-It has self extinguishing properties, is not easy to burn, and can automatically extinguish after leaving the fire source, with high safety.
-Non toxic, odorless, and in compliance with relevant standards for food contact materials, it can be used in food packaging and medical fields.
